Both graph theory and matroid theory have seen some exciting developments in this area in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this 5-day workshop is to bring together leading researchers in Graph Theory and Matroid Theory, to encourage communication and collaboration between these researchers, and to bring a new generation of researchers up to date with the exciting developments in the fields.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.lsu.edu\/~svanzwam\/\">Stefan van Zwam<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.win.tue.nl\/~rudi\/\">Rudi Pendavingh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dates: July 25 &#8211; 29, 2016. You should have received some directions to get from the hotel to the university by email. Alternatively, you can follow almost the same directions from Google Maps <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/oF2Z6pUQks92\">here<\/a>. The directions will take you\u00a0<em>through<\/em> the train station. You can\u00a0just pass the still open gates, no need to pay.<\/p>\n<p>The room has a projector with VGA and HDMI and a large blackboard with coloured chalk.\u00a0Please\u00a0leave no empty seats, we are near the room capacity. There is wifi through eduroam and through the TU\/e guest network. We have reserved smaller breakout rooms as well.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch will be provided at De Zwarte Doos (B5 on the map). On Wednesday, we will have a conference banquet at De Bengel, Stationsplein 28-29. We will\u00a0do a count on Monday for who will participate.
